Gelinas Family Information

The files listed below were scanned from source material given to us during a visit to France in April of 2005. The files came from Mr. Lange. The notes were done by Mademoiselle Madeleine Gelineaud, formerly of Saintes, France. They appear to have been done prior to 1980, perhaps as early as the 1950's.

  • The notes were scanned using a Epson CX11NF network scanner. Most pages were scanned to TIFF format and then converted to acrobat using Adobe Acrobat professional. The random changes from color to black & white seem to be at the whim of the scanner and software, however the issue may have been located between keyboard and chair. Other pages were done directly into Acrobat using it's internal scan function.

Some files contain notes to try to clarify words that are difficult to read in the scanned image either due to the light color of the letter, or due to the curve of the binding. For these notes you may need to use Acrobat Reader to see them.
